My finger nails are not long or sharp enough to erase history
I bite them
But there was a fire on a July 10th, 2014 afternoon between Belcher and Sands street in Kennedy Town Hong Kong
And a little girl and her mother saw it
She asked a lot of questions
Her mother answered the best she could
Nobody was hurt
The little girl will probably remember this forever
The smoke, fireman, firetrucks, water, people, and the ice cream afterwards
A little afternoon fire where nobody was hurt, not even a fingernail
Will you remember?
God help us remember.
