Who could ever guess
A region so singularly obsessed with its
economy and all the suffocation that comes with it
Deserves to have a breathtaking sunset
I suppose my people no longer surrender to beauty
Only to banks
If we have a choice left
We'll probably still take wealth
Over life
or Freedom
or Democracy
or Whatever
or Everything.
