You want your gods to protect you Look after your interests But what's in it for them Why should they give When most of our tribute is only once a year for them, without a permanent home We salute them on sidewalks and staircases, back alleys and strange places Burn and chant slogans for them, like what we do anyways, here on the streets every sundays They get nothing So in return we should get nothing, only the waste of the torn down makeshift shrines, and the grime from the burnt ashes Forget what I say Please donate. ~apys
